Water may be a real issue on the PCT this year.  Springs and streams that are normally reliable may dry up.  It will mean constantly checking the Water Report web site at every opportunity to plan ahead.  That only covers the first 750 miles, however and may not be enough.  Oregon and Washington ALSO have see a drought this year with record low snowfall.

This site shows four years of Half Dome in March.  Very scary…
