Mount Laguna, day 3

Planning. You can try to foresee things and do your best, but the unknown kicks your butt.

The day was the hardest so far, and it’s not over yet. The climb was almost all uphill; 3000 ft elevation gain in the 15 miles up to here. I was SO ready for a shower and a burger.

However, it’s Monday.

It seems the restarunts are only open on weekends until later this month AND the campground is closed!  WTF?!!!

So I’m sore, tired, and the next campground is 2-3 miles away.

Very grumpy right now.

  1. Make a list of all the things that are right. Maybe that will elevate your mood. Hopefully you can rest and find a place to sit and recover. So glad it’s you and not me. Right now I am in San Francisco sitting on the floor at a concert venue waiting for a fav’ band of mine Clean Bandit. Awesome! May my high spirits and bouncy energy travel through the radio waves to reach you.
