Traveling through Nevada and Idaho is stressful. The speed limits are 80 through there, and it’s tough on my little Rav4. I’m using a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid to tow a small 4×6 open trailer. The trailer is roughly 400lbs dry and maybe <600lbs loaded. The car’s rated to tow 1,000lbs and does as fantastic job of it, but doing 80 for hours on end? Stressful.

I arrived at Falls Campground in Idaho, beside the Snake River. Right now it’s warm (80’s), humid, and it might rain. Weather app says the clouds should clear by 6pm, and I’m hoping they do. I really enjoyed not having a rainfly last night. The stars were spectacular!

Not set up yet, but nice to lounge around! The 1st travel day turned out to be 12 hours! Just six today.
